I created this flash animation to play with more complex animations with timeline effects. Creating an animation aimed at young children is a great way to play with the different options in flash without getting too complex. Some of the functionalities used in this animation include 'frame by frame animation', tweening, sound and buttons. The motion tween set to rotation was a great way to get the tire rolling effect. The dancing wheat effect was accomplished by using one graphic, copied frame to frame and modified using the transform function. By setting the animation on repeat, the wheat dances continuously. The bird and the scarecrow are classic animation with the parts that move being redrawn as necessary in their new position. Read the instructions at the bottom of the animation.
